Protect Malheur County Waters from Invasive Mussels!

They are NOT yet established in Malheur County, but have been detected in nearby regions like the Snake River in Idaho. We need YOUR help to keep them out!

REPORT ANY SUSPECTED SIGHTINGS IMMEDIATELY!

If you see what you believe might be quagga, zebra, & golden mussels (often found attached to hard surfaces like boats, docks, or in-water equipment), please:

  1. Call the Oregon Invasive Species Hotline: 1-866-INVADER (1-866-468-2337)

  2. Online Reporting: You can also report sightings through the Oregon Invasive Species Online Hotline.

  3. Take Photos: If possible and safe, take clear photos of the suspected mussels and the location. Note the exact location (water body, nearest landmark).
